Kibera is one of Nairobi’s largest informal settlements and home to a vibrant, resilient community. While many families face limited access to stable employment, education, and economic opportunities, Kibera is also a place of talent, ambition, and determination. For many young women, barriers to education and skills training can make it difficult to build a secure future. Passion To Share Foundation works alongside women and young mothers in Kibera, providing practical skills, mentorship, and opportunities that can help turn potential into sustainable livelihoods.

Six Months. Practical Skills. An Economically Empowered Woman.

In Kibera, many vulnerable young women face poverty, limited opportunities, and difficult choices after high school. Without support, some are at risk of early marriage, drug addiction, prostitution, or even involvement in crime and violence as they struggle to survive. Passion to Share Foundation provides a different path. Our skills centers serve as rescue and empowerment centers, offering young women completely free vocational training in fashion design, graphic design, beauty therapy, or hairdressing.

For a young woman in Kibera, one opportunity can mean the difference between simply surviving and having a future, as well as raising their own family out of poverty

Young Women Have The opportunity to choose one of the below Courses, In addition we also teach them five soft skills that include: Customer Service, Marketing, Public Speaking, Communication and Creative Arts.

01 Confidence and professionalism.

we not only train skills we include 5 extra soft skills to achieve an all round graduate. This includes, communication, public Speaking, marketing, creative arts & customer services.

02 Impact on families

Employment to the girls means that they will be able to ease some financial burden in their families a step towards poverty eradication

03 Alumni who give back

We have a slogan once a PSF girl always a PSF girl, with this our Alumni have always felt free to come back to the center. It is amazing how there visit turn around an on going cohort perception about the training. Sometimes this Alumni support the on going cohort even in the smallest ways and this for us is impact.
